September 27th, In purpose...
I started a class today on “navigating with purpose in daily life”. Tonight, we considered transitions and reviewed some great visuals that address the experiences and emotions. I would have to say – there was some validation and comfort in the content we reviewed this session.
Starting with the definition of transition – a slow psychological process of inner reorientation and reorganization in order to incorporate shifts in identity… I have a fondness for the word SLOW. Too many days, weeks, I am wrestling with my timeline. Then to see it visually drawn in phases; ending, stuck, new beginning, the curve with a generous, extended dip in “stuck”. Finally tying the feelings to each phase. Pretty sure I have progressed through the noted emotions more than a few times, sometimes in a single day. Ha.
I look forward to the work, progressing through this course that happen to come to me in an unplanned way…oh how the spirit works in mysterious ways and how much I remain open to what is being presented.
Hmmm, thank you Compass Course …day 73!
Thank you if you choose to join the journey. Let's hope it is more fun than tears!
