365 Letters to Myself

September 17th, Playlist...

I have forgotten how much I like my playlist, as I am jamming to it this afternoon. If home alone, I’d probably be dancing all over the place, instead shaking hips and bouncing my toes to the beats. The slower, or more romantic considering being held close waltzing across the floor. Many tied to numerous memories.

Freebird – I would torture my boys that if they interrupted, I would start over. Here and Now – the song my husband and I wanted for our wedding, Wind Beneath My Wings what the band played instead. I Will Always Love You – my first boyfriend. Must sing along, Last Dance, all of them really have a piece of story, ha-ha. Artists Elton John, Barry Manilow (yikes, that old!), Def Leppard, Journey (how many concerts of theirs attended?!) and so on…

Music and life are intertwined, aren’t they? Whether the reminder in my daily inspirations this week, or the last few hours of listening and all the thoughts, emotions that accompany the melodies but even more the words pulling my heart strings. I must make this a more common practice!

Hmmm, the music plays on…day 63!

Thank you if you choose to join the journey. Let's hope it is more fun than tears!
