August 19th, Thank god it's Friday...
TGIF!! Fridays are probably my favorite day of the week. They used to be so because I would rarely schedule meetings on them, leaving the day available for all the work I was supposed to finish during the week. The day would feel productive and give the week a feeling of accomplishment. Of course, also to be liked because it meant the next 2 days ‘off’ if such a thing nowadays. Bring on the weekend, less structure more relaxing. Even though I live a more flexible schedule, where the weekdays and weekends can run together, Fridays still are a favorite. More so for the reason it is the beginning of the weekend. Kind of funny – I once liked it as an ending, now I like it as a beginning. There’s some messaging in this! But cutting it short, as I have plans and somewhere I need to get to. Happy Friday!
