365 Letters to Myself
September 20th, Playing in the yard...
One of the greatest sounds is kids and parents, happily playing together in the yard. I was enjoying this sound Sunday as I could hear the laughter, glees, chatter of my son and granddaughter as they were engaging in a made-up came of alien spaceship. How great can it be!!
With one of our ‘last’ warm days – kind of feeling like I should be playing in the yard right now. Rather than admiring the blue skies and sunshine from my bedroom office (with the window open, at least). My idea of playing though – working from the patio, pulling weeds, taking a walk, or occasionally simply sitting in our front swing with a book and perhaps beverage. Oh, to be able to tap imagination and come up with something more creative! Wait, I did, thus The Cloud Book of Wonder - clouds plus imagination - published by the granddaughters and me! Yay. Now to at least capture the 15 minutes I have available in this moment.
Hmmm, daily playtime…day 67!
Thank you if you choose to join the journey. Let's hope it is more fun than tears!
