July 19th, Define Indomitable...

It is no big secret; I could definitely grow my vocabulary. Came across this really cool sounding word, indomitable. Yeah, I probably should be familiar with it, but I am not, so looked it up. What a great word, definition! Indomitable (adjective) 1. Impossible to subdue or defeat: “a woman of indomitable spirit” Synonyms: (select few) invincible, unshakeable, determined, strong-willed, gritty…LOVE IT! I want this word to be considered amongst others selected to describe me! How wonderful to stand up to defeat – one could debate I have, refusing to cower from having my life upended, stolen, and being cheated (though I did choose a concession, in evaluating interests beyond just myself). I am confident in defending my strong-will, in a debate when being labeled, stubborn. It is different, strong-will is standing by your convictions BUT having a willingness to change your mind if presented with a worthy argument. I can be both true and persuadable. Unshakeable, like to chalk this up to an ability to remain calm, keep/find perspective, have empathy and seek a solution. Ultimately, I can believe indomitable is a fit, however, I cannot control if others agree. In the meantime, gonna find abundant blessings in the practice of grittiness and constructive channeling of determination. Challenge accepted…FUN!

Hmmm, what's that word mean… Day 7!

Thank you if you choose to join the journey. Let's hope it is more fun than tears!
