March 14th - Windshield time...
What a pleasant addition to my day – a friend’s windshield time buddy! Unfortunately, what was going to be some perceived quality time, did get cut short though. Bummer, so much left to chat about, the goal to reconnect soon.
I tend to be the same way – what is it about getting into the car and wanting to multi-task driving with catching up on phone calls? It is logical, ‘idle’ time is an opportunity to be productive and the driver has privacy. Must admit, juggling both talking and driving, not quite as good at it as I use to be – especially if the conversation is requiring all my attention. The thing though, sometimes like that they are subject to end without closure. You have to just move on with the day, occasionally feeling like, “I forget to ask this, share about that” … and if a call you were glad to keep private, perhaps you grin a bit more the rest of the day!
