December 3rd, Do you hear...
Just finished watching the Polar Express – I love the message of believing! And I am a believer... In the magic, in the reason for the season and the sweet sound of jingle bells.
I include all kinds of ‘believe’ in my holiday decorations (and every day, actually). It isn’t hard to keep the spirit of a Santa real for myself and overall, I think I have mostly given my boys the example they are willing to follow…’it is way more fun to believe, then not’. There’s really no downside, is there?
But not to be lost, I believe in the baby lying in the manager, the shepherds paying reverence, the angels singing on high. Whether a ‘spirit of Christmas’ as a whimsical figure or arrival of our savior…the sounds are sweet, the feelings joyful!
