April 29th - How high does it go...
Hiking in Dupont State Park to see the waterfalls. What a nice way to spend a day. The weather cooperating, the company of girlfriends and our chatter.
First path waterfall, check. Next path the bonus of triple waterfalls, at the price of elevation. Higher and higher we trekked. Are we out of shape, that old, is it really as steep as feels… not so bad and a satisfaction we can, did it. But a consensus – one of those breweries Asheville is known for – will be a nice reward for the efforts!
And so it was, a couple flights to taste and determine beverage of choice. As we snacked on appetizers it was agreed pizza on the deck of our rental house, high enough to enjoy our mountain view an ideal way to end this vacation day!
Hmmm, almost touch the sky…day 269!
