365 Letters to Myself

March 26th- Sacred Space...

In the corner of my bedroom, I have a sacred space – described as where most my most prized possessions are on display. Less about being collected stuff, but mementos from/of those I hold most dear, and reminders of fondest memories.

I treasure gifts from my sons; a painting (complicated story behind it though), grade school poem, top ten on mom. There are ‘loving’ pictures of myself from a self-discovery exercise and close friends in celebration. I have greeting cards, ticket stubs, show programs and a Master’s ball marker! Heart-shaped rocks, shells from the beach, sayings – “It’s a Wonderful Life”. Travel keepsakes and remembrances of significant life milestones.

Above the table, a mobile that mostly acts as a ‘dream’ collection. At a glance, I am visually able to reflect upon what I want to have, attract in my life.

I love this space. I turn on my side, snuggled in my bed covers, and can stare at it all for moment after moment – most often in a place of gratitude that overflows my heart. My life is good, my life is blessed!

My joy reflected by what is sacred.

Hmmm, a much overdue dusting…day 235!

Thank you if you choose to join the journey. Let's hope it is more fun than tears!
